Should I even ask? I will do it anyway to make sure you’re ready. Honeyyyy do you have your cup? Grab it Honeyyy its about to get real.

Take a sip and let’s get to it. Without getting to much in detail, but honey the topic is military. A friend of mine had been contemplating a few years ago about joining the military but going as reserve and as higher rank. But ya’ll my friend thought she was going to bypass some stuff and would not have to go through some stuff.

We finally did some research after the fact to find out, not only would she have to go through basics, but the process was way lengthier than expected. Instead of regular 14 weeks it would be close to 28 months of training for this ranking she was going in as. I thought to myself like yes it makes sense because the point of basic training is to train your body and mind as solider and not a civilian.

With that pondering in my mind that her mind has to be changed drastically from civilian to solider Holy Spirit decided to give further revelation.

He spoke and said, going into the military requires transformation of the mind. The entire training process is to make you a solider and to think like one. To serve a country. Once the training is complete then you will reap the benefits of “some” peace of completing the end goal. He then says, the same goes for living for Christ Jesus and reaping the eternal benefit of Heaven. All I could say was thank you Holy Spirit for this. He continues with, the entire time you are here on earth is your basic training until you reap eternal benefit. You are here on this earth to learn the fruits of the Spirit, to be Christ on earth, to change your mind from sinner (which we all still are) to righteousness ready to live eternally in Heaven. Everything you go through on earth is training process, how you will respond to adversity, how to manage adversity while keeping your heart and mind on Christ Jesus. Each test in life takes you to another level or should I say rank in the military of God. This military requires a specific character that can only be obtained through the training on this earth. The graduation from this basic training will be you amongst other saints praising God that you made it through training. Earthly military process is similar to the Army of the Lord.

Y’all God is something else! The way he speaks is amazing. The next thing was, “How can she expect to bypass things to get into the military when I require training as well”. He needs soldiers ready to be suited in white ready to assemble when He calls.

Are you in basic training? Or are you trying to bypass? God said, “if you come any other way beside through Christ you are a thief and a robber”. Which way are you coming? Let’s get through basic training, it might be longer than 10, 14 or even 28 weeks but everything you go through is a part of basic training.
