Guess who got egg on their face last night? Me! Honeyyyyy you now you know Father will put you in check unexpectedly at times. After that He says “blog”, yes, I am up blogging this late.

Here we go! How often do you downplay things? I mean really downplay things that you are doing or something you have said? For instance, yes, I am going to open a business, but it’s nothing because everybody else sell the same thing. Yes, I can provide advice, but I am no expert so don’t listen to me.

We downplay things every day it seems like. From opening the door for someone and they show their appreciation and you say, “oh it’s nothing”. It is something because in 2021 people are rude honey and they will not hold an elevator door honey.

Why do we downplay things like we are less than? Sometimes we fail to realize who we are, and it takes some egg on your face from God to put you in check like He did me. Why can’t you launch the business that as you say EVERYBODY ELSE is doing? Why couldn’t you speak life into someone? Why can’t you except that, they are right not everyone holds the door for people and just say THANK YOU. Why can’t you receive a blessing from someone? Especially when God said men will give unto your bosom because of your faith.

Why can’t we believe this or accept it? You really want to know why I have egg on my face? Ok look, I ask Holy Spirit what I should read, and He say Jeremiah. I’m like ok cool. As I read chapter one, God says (summarized) “I’ve chosen you from your mother’s womb and ordained you as a prophet before you were even born.” Yall want to know what happened next, Jeremiah did what we all do “Naw God, you tripping I am a child, I don’t know a thing”. God came through with the clap back “Don’t say you are just a child; I will give you what to say and you will go and speak what I say.”

And then he got on my line yall, “Remember every time I would give you a Word for a person, pastor, group or friend you would say “But who am I”, I’m salty because God why you bringing up old stuff lol. So, He then says, Stop saying that “But who am I” if I told you to say it then you are somebody.

You know what I had to do, repent, because He is right. I do downplay every time he gives me a Word to give to someone and say “But who am I” just wait on confirmation. Often times they will follow-up and say this is confirmation or never say anything at all. Why can’t I speak? Do I feel that I am less than because I have no title? Repent is what I did. His words should never be downplayed.

Now think about a time when you’ve downplayed your gift, business or voice? Now repent and walk in it, because honey why not you? You are chosen.
