Through It All

Sometimes when you’re in it, you cannot see where this thing is going. In the middle of it, at times you will find yourself doing the thing you said you didn’t want to do and that’s complain or see the negative. It’s funny how, in the middle how we simply forget the victory we last won or the peace we just had. Don’t feel shame because we as humans as flesh, we’ve all been there.

I can guarantee that everyone has been there at some point of their life, where they just could not see where this was going. Whether it was the beginning of their phase, middle or even the end. At some point, someone has been there with a terrible semester in school and feeling defeated as if nothing good could come from this. In the middle of that storm, there was turmoil or stress with life and even family stuff. During that time the enemy just brought so much doubt or defeat. But, as time passes with faith and prayer, God saw you through to complete that degree.

How about being in the middle of turmoil with leaving a bad relationship, the enemy will bring about self doubt or even low self esteem. The trick of the enemy is to get you to kill yourself within yourself. To keep you down or make you feel as if you’re not wanted. After the departure of this bad relationship which did not add to what God’s plan he had for you, then you draw closer to God. You draw so close and notice that His word is true “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you” and even purifying your heart. As you do this, you learn to love yourself and see yourself through the eyes of God. That relationship taught you more than you could ever know, but at the middle of that break up and/or the relationship you don’t see where this is going. Your hurt, but now that you’ve drawn near to God you are restored and you look around the corner He opens doors and allows you to love again.

In the middle it’s tough, it’s up to how you see it. Do you see it with your eyes or through the eyes of God? There is something that is to be learned in the middle. There is something that needs to be learned through the storm and the silence. You are not alone, I’ve been there in every phase of my life, but the trick is to consume your thoughts with the Word and praising Him through the middle. I said through the middle because you will get through it. Envisioning the light at the end of the tunnel is the goal. It’s crazy because in the middle, that’s what Jesus had to do. He prayed through times, that this hour would pass, but not by his will but God’s will be done. He was in the middle, but he knew He would get THROUGH it! Keep in your mind that you will get through this time or storm will make it just a little easier.

You can get through it not because of my words, but His Word has already decreed that “In this world you will have trouble, but take heart I have overcome the world”. I believe you will gain your strength back, your joy back and you will obtain the victory over whatever you are going through. See yourself at the end of it all.

Before writing this blog this song came to my head, I hope this gets your through that middle! Remember the seas and waves still know his name 🙂

Love and peace,
Tia
